Costly Mistakes Made While On AD Waitlist
Got myself onto my first Rolex list a few months ago for a watch I'd been studying for months. The white sky-dweller. I wanted THAT watch. Gave them a 50% downpayment and waited. This did not scratch my want-a-watch itch. So I kept looking. Bought myself a Bluesy, at a nice discount. If I had stopped here, I would have been okay. It was a good price a quite liked it. But I kept looking. Decided I really liked a Patek 5396r-012, with the beautiful breguet numbers. Tried it on, liked it (thought I liked it), so I went to work on acquiring it. Found one at a what was a significant discount. Traded out of the bluesy, and added a big chunk of money, and got myself the Patek. Week or so later, don't love the Patek anymore.
