URWERK UR-210 Watch Reminds You To Stop Being Lazy
Urwerk is tired of your lazy ass sitting on the couch. That is why their small team in Switzerland has developed a brand new complication dedicated to getting you up and moving. This model UR-210 watch could quite possibly be the most expensive exercise timepiece ever developed. Anyway, I don't think it is recommended that you strenuously exercise while wearing it either. The new timepiece from the exclusive Swiss brand is the UR-210, and follows in the visual and technical footsteps of URWERK'S other models. However, the design evolution here is very apparent and I think futurism lovers are going to find the technical design of the UR-210 to be among the most delicious they have seen in a while.Let's jump into the timepiece's innovations first. The new complication has been coined the "Winding Efficiency Indicator" by Urwerk. The name makes sense but is unlikely to explain exactly what the complication is meant to do (i.e. turn your watch into a whiny wife). This winding efficiency ind
Thinking of trading Daytona on AP ROO
I've been looking at the ROO, and thinking I would wear it a lot more than my 116509 (I'm deathly afraid of scratching up the gold).I'm also thinking the 44mm size would be a more casual size and in SS is something that I could wear daily (I work in a tech company - think shorts & t-shirts.)What would you guys do? Any suggestions on specific models? I would really prefer something with a chronograph. Thanks!
Thinking of a Super Avenger
Been going back and forth over I high end watch for months Omega, Rolex and now Breitling... Just tried on a Super Avenger yesterday and really liked the weight and heft of the watch... He was quoting me 4600... Is there more room to move on this? What's everyone's take on the Super Avenger? Thx guys
Advice Please: PAM 351 or 441 OR you tell me...
Hey all,I think I'm gonna take another swing at Panerai. I love the ceramic line, and before we get started you should know I owned a Radiomir 292. I really enjoyed the watch, but realized after a relatively short period of time the wire lugs weren't really my favorite flavor. So I spent some time at the AD yesterday and realized I want a 44mm Luminor 1950. I also fell hard for the Ti case on the 351. I think the tone of the metal looks amazing with the brown dial and strap. At this moment I am most interested in the Titanium 351 and the Ceramic 441, and I am very open to other suggestions. Here's my list of preferences...Price: $5k-9k (preowned or new, trusted seller route most likely)Size: 44-45mmCollection: Luminor 1950Materials: Ceramic, Titanium, SteelFunction/Complications: Seconds & Date (no date is ok too, but I do like having it)Dial: Sandwich dial, (Tobacco if possible)Extras Preferences: I really like the tobacco dials, I do like the exhibition case back, I love the b
Cellini Moonphase owners...
Gentlemen,The last Rolex I thought I'd ever buy was a Cellini. Never liked them, never ever considered them, until I saw the new Moonphase today, which I purchased! It is an absolute stunner and must be seen in person to be appreciated. I presently own a black Daytona C, a (Federer '12 Wimbledon watch) 41mm Everose Day Date II and waiting very patiently for my blue Skydweller.Rolex is NOT known for dressy leather strapped watches and I always thought prior Cellini models were just plain boring. THIS watch changes their game entirely in that category - in my opinion!I wanted ask those who own the new Moonphase how high the loops where the end of the strap goes into sits on your wrist. Is it high up on your wrist, where usually the loops should sit toward the bottom middle of the wrist? Is that a new look with this watch? I have fairly thin wrists and the watch I put on today, when adjusted, the loops were very high up on the side of my wrist. My AD is ordering a short strap for me on Mo
