Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 6 Watch
Harry Winston has recently announced another chapter in their Histoire de Tourbillon line, the Harry Winston Histoire De Tourbillon 6. It is traditionally one of the most complicated watches, but released with the least amount of usable illustrations - you guessed it: one front view. To sum it all up real quick: a triple-axis tourbillon, a separate karussel, 683 parts, two time indications,?resetting hands on the second indication,?carriage stop on the karussel, over 80 hours of power reserve, and a monstrous?55-millimeter case. Take all that into account, and you will see why it baffles me why such halo pieces �C because, after all, such releases are the epitome of halo releases �C are debuted with just?a single front view of the watch. Rebellion T-1000 Watch
Rebellion ups the power reserve ante with REB T-1000 manually wound mechanical movement in the watch with the same name (minus "REB"). Through six barrels the movement stores 1000 hours of power reserve. What I want to know is how long do you need to wind the watch, for it to go from totally unwound to fully wound? Mechanically, the movement isn't super complex. It has been specially designed to be symmetrical, which is interesting. All the "guts" are squeezed in the middle, and the balance wheel has been exposed in a unique way. It reminds me of a flattened Corum Golden Bridge movement. The real cool part of the movement is the six mainspring barrels that contain all the power, and are connected via the chain transmission. Time of course it told on the two moving cylinders. There is also said to be a power reserve indicator. An interesting exercise in mechanics and design from Rebellion. Audemars Piguet 15202 production
All,Various authorised dealers have mentioned that Audemars Piguet have drastically reduced the production of the 15202ST, whilst production was generally limited previously due to the apparent difficulty of manufacturing the ultra thin movement. With the movement being the reported limiting factor for production, the introduction of several new precious metal variants would naturally lead to a reduction in the production of the steel variant (assuming a constant overall movement production volume). With that said, I wonder if others have better insights on the above matters and, indeed, Audemars Piguet's foreseeable plans for this model - not least whether this line may well have been a 40th anniversary celebration and could well be discontinued rather than held as part of the regular collection.Thank you!

Spineless...came away with another watch instead
Hi for those who were kind enough to read and repond to my previous thread about me being frustrated with Omega not delivering my ordered speedmaster. Well today I went to my AD to cancel the order and was then going to purchase this watch from a Boutique In London (I guess this is what Omega wants us all to do)But the manager at My AD promised me every effort would be made by them with phone calls every other day to Omega chasing this as they did not want to lose my money or business. He was very convincing.... so much so that I left with a new watch with nice discount. It felt perfect for me and looks great on. It is the 2012 Olympic Aqua terra, Great dial in a very unusual blue. I enclose an Omega photo of it until I have chance to post wrist shots, (This watch looks so much better in the flesh) hopefully at the same time I can post the Speedy photos as well.

Possible Day Date 40 dial change?
Hi, was wondering if Rolex still allows dial changes on Day Dates? Did it a few years ago on a 36mm Day Date through the AD to them. Now I am thinking about a change in my rose 40mm. Please let me know if anyone has done it fairly recently in the U.S.. thank you!EricE
