Remember the Urwerk UR-1001 Zeit Device? It was a crazy complicated pocket watch of sorts that kept time in increments ranging from one second on up to the passing millennia. The device was introduced back in 2012, and it has remained something of a curiosity from the brand. While it never occurred to us that one might want to strap the Zeit Device to the wrist, that’s exactly what Urwerk has done with the latest iteration, the UR-1001 “TITAN.” It has all the craziness of the pocket watch, but this time with a removable wrist strap. 1 OF 4 The UR-1001 “TITAN” gets its name from the new titanium case. The original was stainless steel with a AlTiN (Aluminium Titanium Nitride) surface treatment. The remains largely untouched, including its dimensions, which clock in at 106 mm x 62 mm x 23 mm. Strap Change Advice
I recently acquired a 5627A-001 and am interested in trying different straps with the watch. It comes with two strap and I am also interested in trying out one of the Rubber B straps for it. I read some postings about the difficulty in changing the straps because there is a screw that needs to be removed that retains the pin-bar at both both lugs and also one for the deployant clasp.Does anyone happen to know the correct size or flat head screw driver that fits these retaining screw heads?Would it be wiser to just take it to an AD and have them swap out the strap for me? It would seem that if I have the correct tool, it should be simple enough. Clearly, I would prefer to not mark up my watch trying out different straps, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,Posted the same thread in Rolex sub forum - thought to post the same to PP. Hope i'm not breaking any forum rules...I've been thinking what i'm getting next.. Hoping the experts here in this forum can give me suggestions.I'm after a Rose Gold watch with a leather/rubber strap. I already have 2 Rolexes SS and YG, and an AP ROO.The options i want in no particular order:1. Patek 5712r+ I never owned a Patek before. Would be a nice additon to my collection+ havent got a moon face watch.- AD (Rolex) person advised Patek is not an everyday watch and not as 'daily beater' as a Rolex. Note: any of Rolex & Patek owners agree with this? Why?- PP's are more expensive to service compared to Rolex. And takes longer if serviced in Sydney. Again, as the AD claims.2. Patek 5980r+ never owned a Patek before- Thicker compared to 5712. Note: this is as advised by AD; A rose gold watch should be a thin watch. Do you guys agree with this view? I'm a watch newbie, so im not sure what is the 'norm
