Diamonds Are A... Man's Best Friend?
It is no secret that precious jewels have always featured in men's high-end, luxury watches. Yet it seems that these days more and more of these jewels are finding their way onto dials, bezels and bands, as opposed to only being incorporated in the complicated movements that power these incredible timepieces. One brand that has recently taken this new trend to the next level is Concord, with their new C1 Chronograph. The watch features a 44mm white gold case, standing 16.70mm tall and is set with enough diamonds (184 to be exact, or a cool 2.4 carats) to ensure that anyone who tries to look directly at the dial risks potential permanent blindness. However, the enhancement of the original C1 does not stop there, not by a long shot! Crown problem .
AP owner, is crown problem is a common for AP watches ?So far I had 3 AP watches that has the same problem .. crown. The Crown, you can keep winding it after adjust the time and cant be locked.Happened to my previous GP, RG and my new GP. Never had any problems with other my other brands, and also I hardly wore these watches since I always rotate my watches on the weekend wear only.I asked AP Clearwater and they never can give me the answer.
Rolex goes upmarket
I read a post a few months ago about rolex going up market and i cant help but feel thus is true.Called in to my AD today was told stock levels are hopeless and waiting lists are closed. This is the same AD I bought two subs from new. Was told numerically speaking I was not a VIP customer and would not find my self on any list.I can’t undertand how stock levels can be so low, its either rolex is genuinely holding back stock or ADs are selling direct to the grey market. What are your thoughts on current supply? Will it get any better? Its been atleast two years now?Time to move on. AP here i come...
Basel 2018 - Which is your favourite?
Between Rolex and Tudor, I actually go with Black Bay 58 39mm as my favourite. Second place, redesign DSSD with 3235 movement and wider bracelet.Third, the Tudor Black Bay GMT.
