Review: L��m-Tec M33 Phantom Chronograph
Where do I even begin to discuss the M33? When I first saw the L��m-Tec M33, lurking in a watch forum somewhere, I immediately knew that I had discovered something special. When browsing watch sites and forums one tends to see similar trends played out in only a handful of ways, but the M33 really stood out as a unique take on the phantom watch. At the time, I had not heard of L��m-Tec, and upon surface digging about the brand, I was amazed at what I saw. A small and relatively young Ohio based brand dedicated to affordable and unique limited edition watches built with the highest standards. A brand that posts designs on forums, takes feedback directly from consumers, and tweaks their designs accordingly. Where to buy AP?
New member and so glad i found this site. I have been looking at getting an AP and have finally chosen the RO 15400 in pink gold, white dial with brown strap. This is my problem, I live in Maine and no one sells AP or really anything besides Rolex. I have been looking online on where to buy. I have found pricing a little all over the place from retail pricing to a few thousands lower. I have called a few sellers and have mixed feelings. Can anyone recommend a place that they fell they have been treated fairly? I have a few things to consider, first I would rather pay a little more but get great customer service, second if I can avoid sales tax that would be great and lastly I don't want to pay retail.any and all advice is greatly appreciated!Cheers

Hi,Anyone have any good experiences with having a vintage Omega serviced / repaired in NYC? I've been to Central watch a couple times and have spoken with them but haven't had them fix anything for me.Thanks,Jonathan

PPC comparison - 5970J vs 3971J
I was able to compare the 5970P vs 3971J first series recently.According to Sotheby's auction notes, only 9 known 3971J first series are known to exist, with the sapphire snap-on caseback.I know the forum loves the 5970P. Would anyone here pick the 3971J first series amongst the two?They have the same movement inside, but with different metal and case size, from a different time period in Patek history.Please excuse the typo in the title which I don't know if I can edit, as it should read:PCC comparison - 5970P vs 3971J

Why does the Date window alone have a gold frame around the window? Why not the Day and Month?
