Wait or buy?
Hi all, as you know I just got a 5726 today, and already have a 5712-1A, basically it's the only 2 nice watches I have, flipped my RG Daytona and the Hulk.My question is, my 2 PP are not really beaters, before I always had a sub or something of the sort, I plan on MAYBE getting, not sure, a 5167R in a few years, I know it's not a beater, I was thinking either get a 114060 (non date sub) and that would be my trio, or just wearing my old Omega for swimming and sports and just get a 5167R when I can, I would swim with it and practice non violent sports.Knowing that I found it not very comfortable to wear heavy watches like a sub recently, exact opposite before I needed to feel the watch, not the case since I got my 5712, so do you think I should get the sub and flip it when/IF I get the 5167R, or just wear my Omega?Here's a few pics of the Omega.Thanks in advance for your repliesP1000729.JPGP1000730.JPG

Searching for the Right Everose
Opinions and advice needed!I am a 30 yo female starting a new job as a consultant in a couple weeks. Important to know because I do not want to be too flashy with my watch or else I would feel uncomfortable at client sites. I am looking for a watch that is classy, timeless, understated, a bit masculine, and that I'll keep and use forever. I have a SS 31mm DJ that is stunning but I do not wear it enough because my engagement and wedding rings are rose gold. I went to a local AD yesterday intending to firm up my decision to buy a 36mm Everose DD on a leather strap and ended up falling in love with the Everose Daytona with a black dial. I just can't wrap my mind around the price and heft of that watch. It is incredible but I can already see myself not wearing it to work at all during the week and that would defeat the entire purpose and enjoyment for me. Rolex & Its Customers
A recent thread (about Swiss attitudes toward Rolex) got me thinking about the extent to which Rolex interacts with its customers I know AP owns some of its own boutiques, offers appointment-only lounges, and has invited customers to factory tours. Patek has factory tours and other events for VIPs -- and for us common folk, they have their museum in Geneva. I'm sure other brands have similar practices. How often does Rolex deal with its own customers? Do they own any of the retail stores or service centers? Has anyone on TRF ever been invited to an event by Rolex itself (and not by an AD)? Personally, the arms-length approach doesn't bother me -- I'm just an enthusiast and am nowhere close to a major customer. But for those who buy a large quantity of precious metal (or diamond/gem studded) Rolex watches, does Rolex ever make the relationship more personal?

The AD produced the watches, and then the guy was like I don't want to buy the $180,000 one anymore, but I'll take those two!
