2012 Geneva Time Exhibition Welcomes Four AHCI Watchmakers
From January 15-20 at Espace Hippomne Genve, Geneva Time Exhibition’s third edition will welcome four members from the Horological Academy of Independent Creators. Svend Andersen, Marc Jenni, Jean Kazes and Antoine Preziuso will present their latest collections and unique, artistic pieces. “It is a real honor to welcome these prestigious watchmakers. The AHCI coming to GTE is part of the logic and continuity of our mission: promoting the art of making time in Geneva and beyond its frontiers”, said Florence No?l, the show director.Pioneer of the Geneva Time Exhibition adventure, Antoine Preziuso returns to the Fair with a very unique piece called GTS – Grand Tourbillon Sport. Preziuso feeds his passion for racing by reinterpreting his tourbillon movement in a case made of a sleek new material, “ChromeCobalt”.Sven Andersen is sometimes named “the Watchmaker of the Impossible” because he surprises the world with amazing creations and inven
Regarding 3513.50
All,I generally hang out in the vintage rolex section, but I have been asked to research a 3513.50 or 3570.50 by my sister in law as a birthday gift to her husband (my brother). I know nothing about Omega watches and I would like a brief history on these two models......provenance, vintage, production run, etc. According to my SIL, he seems to have searched more on the 3513.50 than the latter. Anything would be helpful, and any advice on searching for one would also be helpful. Pete
I will NEVER buy a Rolex.......
.....or so I thought. This is my first post to the forum as I just joined. I started collecting Omega watches about four years ago. I was always one to say I would never buy a Rolex. Rolex is worn by everyone. Rolex is too expensive. Rolex is overrated. So about a week ago I bought my first Rolex. For some reason I developed an infatuation with the submariner over the past six months. I was clearly wrong over the past four years about Rolex. It is impossible for me to overstate how much I love this 114060. I am big on NATO straps but this watch's bracelet is so comfortable I refuse to use a NATO for now.Long story short...... wow I am I impressed with this watch. There is clearly a reason why this is considered so iconic. I am not going to down the road of which watch I love the most, but the new submariner is really something. This will not be the last Rolex I buy.
Bracelet Help, please
I have a DJ II, 116300 and I would like to add a jubilee bracelet. I have one AD telling me Rolex doesn't make a jubilee to fit that watch. I have another AD telling me that even if he could get one I have to surrender my oyster bracelet to the AD (i think he implied before I purchase, but that was unclear). What gives? So specifically, is there a jubilee for the DJ II? What is the part number? Where can I get one and keep my original bracelet?
