AP Family Photos...post em!
I'm sure there's older threads with similar topics and I could have posted this in the Rolex General section but since I feel as though the AP Subsection is my online family, it only felt right to start it here. I travel a lot for work, which means that unfortunately I must part with my babies quite often. As I was getting ready for the usual trip to the safe deposit box before my departure, thought I'd snap a photo of all the boys together before they go back into the cold, lonely safe ...One always comes along though, and since I'm usually overseas, it's this one!I'd love to see all your family photos!
Ultimate luxury sports watch?
I didn't really know in what section to post this, so decided to post here, what are the ultimate sport watch brands? There's Rolex of course but for me it's not a luxury brand, it's a middle high end brand, then there's Richard Mille, they could be considered the ultimate sport pieces but only one thing bothers me with them is the low WR, for me a sports watch should have at least 100m WR, apart their diver models the WR is 30m as I understand, at the same time even if the WR was 200m would you really go for a swim with a 100K or more watch? I think I would not. Then there's the ROO line, multiple choice of metals, sizes, 42 and 44mm, for me the best are clearly the ones with ceramic or cermet bezel, the unscratchable factor is for me very, very important, I got the full ceramic diver because I find it hot looking and the AP ceramic seems to be up to taking a beating and resisting it, I wouldn't have any problem swimming or doing sports with it, something I wouldn't do with my PP 5712,
Should I...?
I'm considering moving 2 of my lesser worn Rolexes to pickup a Safari. For those of you who made similar moves, any regrets? My thoughts are I can always pick the Rolex back up later since they are usually easy to find from a trusted seller.
15300 what a waste of money
i spent on all my other watches when all i want to wear is this one HAGWE
A new hope
With all the talk of future generations not even wanting watches, this survey result was nice to see.
