Introducing: The Montblanc 4810 Day-Date
Montblanc has released a new Day-Date as part of the 4810 Collection. The 4810 Day-Date is a more traditional addition to the line and is reminiscent of the classic Rolex Day Date. 1 OF 1 The watch features a 43.5 mm stainless-steel case and is 10.14 mm thick. The silvered guilloché dial has applied red-gold-plated Roman numerals, an arched aperture for the day at 12 o’clock, and the date aperture at 3 o’clock. As seen on the other 4810 models, the 4810 Day-Date features Regate-style, red-gold-plated hands. The movement used is the caliber MB 24.18 (a step up from the 4810 Automatic). The new 4810 Day-Date will retail for $2,785. Me and my Oyster Perpetual Submariner started our symbiotic relationship back in 1974 in Hamilton Bermuda. I have had the watch on my for arm more of my life than I have not. A scary thought. Twice we spent a few anxious weeks apart whilst it was being serviced. As a professional hotel chef my working life, this watch has been in all kinds of things I'm sure no one ever planned for. My watch has been well used and abused. Not wishing to provoke tears in any forum member, suffice to say that once it was taken for service in a Ziplock baggy in pieces. The Rolex people were not impressed ! A few weeks ago I found a well engineered thin stainless steel ring on my garage floor. Attracted to it like a magpie, I picked it up and mumbled W T F did this come from horror when I realised the bezel of my watch had disappeared.Knowing how much a full plus parts service was going to cost I said no way.Every time I guiltily glanced at the time, the forlorn watched looked back at me. I now know why the

I know this watch is limited and hence the price is what it it...but do any of you find the Hindu Arabic numerals unique enough to choose this version over Roman or our Arabic numerals?
