Baume & Mercier Classima Executives Magnum XXL Watch
This was one of the best new Baume & Mercier at SIHH 2010, and that really isn't saying much. The brand's return to "heritage" (wow, isn't that starting to sound REALLY cliche these days) has a release of "classic" looking watches. A term that is starting to get on my nerves these days. Like the watch industry is so confused as to what happened in the last 10 years they are just trying to erase is and start from scratch. The Classima Executives Magnum XXL is actually two watches - see my images from the show. Mitsukoshi (Conversion) Speedmaster on Strap
Recently picked-up an OEM gator strap and deployment for my 3570.50, which I converted to a Mitsukoshi a few months ago. I really like this set-up: super classy (I think) and super comfortable. I will be wearing it like this for a while.

Info wanted about this Constellation
I was given this Constellation Megaquartz 32khz quite a few years ago. It was very battered with a broken bracelet. I always liked its retro looks especially the cushion face. Recently I decided to have a go at restoration and I think it came up quite nicely. I was lucky to find a crystal. In fact my Rollies have taken second place for wrist time, for the moment anyway.I was wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about this model. I think its early 70's.

Camille Fournet on my 5227
The stock glossy PP strap was really a downer and was causing me to not love my 5227.I switched to a nice matte Camille Fournet strap about a month ago.It is so much better and my love for my 5227 has returned.I highly recommend the switch!

My new 5167...
After several long months, a business deal I had been working on finally closed. It took a little convincing, but my wife let me celebrate by allowing me to get a new watch.... my first Patek... 5167. I had been a Rolex guy, but wanted something a little different and actually a little more under the radar where most folks won't really notice it. So far I LOVE this watch. I know it isn't for everyone, but it is perfect for me as a daily watch.... which I have already broken it in with some desk diving swirlies Definitely looking forward to many adventures with this watch.Anyhow, just thought I'd share my excitement....
