Need help identifying Omega Ladies DeVille Prestige Quartz Small
Hello all,I'm a PO guy, so I'm never in the market for Omega ladies watches. I have the opportunity to purchase a pre-owned Omega DeVille Prestige Quartz Small watch for a really great price. I'm thinking about giving it to my mother. I am meeting with the seller at a local jeweler to remove the caseback to see if it's the 1456 quartz movement. Again, I am not familiar with these types of watches, so I was hoping that someone could offer some information. I would say that this watch was produced in the 90's. I've attached the Omega watch listing, as well as pictures from the seller.Questions I have: What markings should I expect to see on this watch (i.e. on caseback, serial numbers?) during this time period? Has this watch ever been produced with bezel & links having just a gold plating/finish? I wouldn't assume so, but I can't tell if some of the gold has tarnished (the pictures are poor). I apologize in advance for my ignorance on ladies watches! Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is my first post in the PP discussion forum. Until very recently I had a humble little 3 watch collection of vintage rolexes (1016, 5513 and 1680). By chance I was talking with a dealer i'd dealt with and asked him to keep me in mind if he had any nice vintage pieces coming in. Anything else he asked? No nothing, unless of course you happen to get in my holy grail watch. What's that he said? A Nautilus I replied, but quickly followed that up with I know how rare they are particularly on the 2nd hand market.Much to my surprise he sent me back a photo of a 5711. He said he had been holding onto it for 9 months as he didn't want to sell it to just anyone - but someone who would appreciate it for what it is. Turns out, I was the 1st person since then who had asked if he had one. I cannot explain why he would not have not put it on his site earlier. Biggest Rolex Store in US Has No Sports Models
So, I walk into the massive Rolex boutique in NYC this afternoon, the one that’s in the same building that houses the U.S. Rolex headquarters .... and not one steel sports model was available, and only a couple of yellow gold models. No Subs of any sort, no Deep Seas, GMTs, no Explorers or IIs, and of course no Daytonas or the new SD. Nothing. Just hundreds of other models, such as DJs, DDs, and women’s watches. Sales rep told me they won’t get any more until after Christmas. Not sure if that’s BS or not, but it seems insane that the stock at the biggest store/dealer in the U.S., which I believe is run by Wempe, doesn’t have any basic sports models heading into the holiday buying season. I knew this was going on in Europe, but I assumed you could still get a steel Sub, for example, with relative ease at a dealer. I assume it’s like this elsewhere across the U.S. Go figure.
