I Ordered it 6 weeks ago , and finally is here...It came in this luxury plastic bugWave design under the strapIt's a deployment strap so the deployment buckle is necessary..Time to take the bracelet off Removing the braceletThe strap is waiting to ''meet'' the watch...On the left the bracelet's spring bars and on the the right the bigger spring bars i am going to use with this strap.Both pairs are genuine .Omega is using bigger spring bars for straps and smaller with bracelets , for more secure fitting i guessparison photo:On the left the strap with the bracelet's spring bar and on the right the bigger one.Wrist shots finallyThats it , thank you very much for watching.
Triplock water resistance question.....
Hello everyone here at TRF! I had a Rolex water resistance question I wanted to get your thoughts on.I have always been believed that models with the Triplock crown system were water resistant to a minimum of 300m (i.e. submariner, SeaDweller, etc). Conversely, those with a Twinlock come with 100m water resistance (DateJust, Oyster, Milgauss, etc)Assuming that is true (and that may be an erroneous assumption on my part), why does the Yacht-Master....which has a TripLock crown come with only 100m of water resistance?Anyway, just curious. Stick with 116600 OR get a 16610LV?
I now have 2 beautiful Sea-Dwellers and find myself lusting after another 16610LV. My 126600 is a definite keeper so I am contemplating selling my 116600 to fund a nice 16610LV. I quite like the idea in my mind of having a 50th Anniversary Sub and 50th Sea-Dweller.
Gem from 2009
Came across this booklet from 2009... this is when I fell in love with the brand but my bank account wasn't strong enough to handle it yet.This page made quite the impression, considering I own them all. The models now are great but there is something special about this time, IMO.
