Moon watch purchase comparison
I have looked at Omega's speedmaster Moon Watch for some time, I really like this watch and pretty much figured out all the models. Although I would like a sapphire sandwich; I have settled on the original hesalite model. Now the question is I can get a brand new Moon 3570.50 for around $3400 or so,, I also can get a 50th Anniv. moon ( the one with 1957 in red on dial) new in box for around $3500-=preowned. What I do not know is if these special edition/limited editions are worth owning or have less or more value than a 3570.50 I like the look of this special but usually do not like the others. My only concern is if I tired of it and decided to sell -would it hold a similar value or not or are they white elephants.Let me know thanks in advance.
Patek 5167 or Rolex Sub Ceramic no Date or A.Lange & Sohne 1815
Here's the deal, if I can get a brand new Patek 5167 for $16750, Rolex Sub Ceramic Date New for $6400, and Alange for $16k used but in excellent condition, which would you buy? I'm trying to just have one watch and have narrowed it to three here. However, if I get the Sub, it'll save me a lot of money for other things to do. Let me know your thoughts.
Brestro....
....or Bronze Destro. It's inevitable that such a model is coming, given the fact that Panerai as of lately resembles a cheap italian hooker in the way they go about their loyalty to collectors and their (tongue in cheek) 'exclusivity'. 'New' models are just old models with small tweaks, when something is 'rare and limited', rest assured that another model is already in production which is similar and also 'limited'. I miss the days of small production Panerai. Call me a hopeless nostalgic.
Some Grey Hulks Hard At Work
Classified today for a Hulk at 11K. It looks like this person deliberately did not bother in even doing a serious sales thread with many good pictures and posted only one pic. Miraculously sold the watch today !!!!!Working hard to deny the fact that these are becoming available more by the minute at ADs for standard retail.

That blue and black combo is a masterpiece! I love the hulk and the bluesy as well but the black part of the bezel on the blnr balances out the colors perfectly! IMO. What’s your favorite?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
