Question on ceramic
I just got my new ceramic the other day. First ever AP! When I got it I noticed there was some metallic mark on the bezel by the edge. Wasn't sure what it was, so I contacted AP service. They took it, said it was probably some transfer from some other material, and cleaned it off. I got it back yesterday, but now I noticed this other thing near the same area, and I'm pretty sure wasn't there before. Though it could just be part of the finishing? Wanted you guys to take a look and see what it was. I asked AP service about it, but I'm waiting for a response back. it's been almost 5 years since I've sold my last Panerai. I'm thinking about making the move back to get a near daily Panerai...I have to say I miss the straps, miss the community and miss the design...Panerai makes me nostalgic as it was the community of Panerai that made me fall in love with watches Anywho, any guys on here still wearing their 390 from 2011?? This is the one I think I will get..I love the versatility I can have with straps and the tobacco dial with that gorgeous lume...Pics are welcome
Duty Charge of GMT Master II from Japan?
I am in the market for a GMT Master II BLNR and will be in Japan next month. If I buy it there, I can avoid taxes in Japan, but I SHOULD claim it upon returning to the U.S. and pay duty on it. Does anyone know what the duty for such a purchase would be? I don't want to be surprised and want to be honest with claiming it.
How would you improve the model 114300
What would make this ref 114300 a better watch ? For me a 41mm case and the removal of the colour dots . I realy would like a straight forward watch without any trimmings and this is so close .
