Rose Gold 44 question
After the SIHH release of the new rose gold 44, many people said they prefer the 'older' dial.I tend to agree as it looks cleaner to me and less busy. That being said, why has the market softened on the original RG 44's? IMO, it's probably one of the most interesting sport watches on the market.Economy is doing well, rose gold still in favor, size is still attractive..?
Anyone have platinum Schumi?
Just curious... Would love to see some live photos!!!
State of my ROO 25721ST
Guys, I haven't been wearing my ROO 'The Very first One' lately. After looking at Wayne's pictures of his recent acquisition that looks just like mine, I decided to pull mine out of the bank today and continue to enjoy wearing it. After I got my Diver, I started wearing this piece less often. Last time I put it on was back in November at the F1 GP of Austin. Today I am reporting the state of my watch:Still some bright lume on it! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360212780.246494.jpgI also noticed that my pushers are starting to age even though they were just replaced during a service back in 2009. Today, under a 10x loupe I could start to see that the Therban on the pushers is slightly cracking. Just like an old car dashboard in a 1970s Maverick. I love it! Another living proof that I've enjoyed the hell out of this watch. I think I wore this ROO as a daily beater for most 2010 and part of 2011. Panerai Sistemi - Calzoni Panerai - The Panerai with the brightest light factor
Hi,you all know that Panerai has developed products for the military, primarily light system under water light, etc. .. and has this and also produced until 1997, until Richmont or the Vendome Luxury Group has bought the watch part of Officine Panerai. The rest was renamed in Panerai Sistemi. In 1999 then the company Calzoni which has military matters, developed for the water, bought the Panerai Sistemi..paneraisistemi/.calzoni/company/historyAlso, there was recently a somewhat detailed thread on paneristi which has shown in more detail the military lighting systems from Panerai. There are also information from books. If you look at the drawing you from the last picture above, then you see the Panerai lamp which was used for a helicopter landing pad. Also the first and 2 Image show a helicopter landing pad, for which the lighting system Panerai has developed.A helicopter I did not, not even a landing pad, but finally enough light in the house and / or garden ......After I received the l
Potentially dumb questions about the Datejust 41
Hey everyone, 1st off, I just recently joined this forum and I'm impressed with the caliber of decorum/courtesy/helpfulness here. Who am I? Basically a kid in his mid-40's who has been a long-time Submariner fanatic. My question is kinda odd so please bear with me... I never took a liking to the DJ until the new SS DJ 41 debuted at Basel last year. Since then it's been on my drool list; it seems my taste is evolving, either that or I'm just finally getting old (ha!). The thing holding me back is whether or not it's wearable with really casual outfits: T-shirt, jeans or shorts. I'm talking REALLY casual, I never - and I mean never dress up. I rarely wear collared shirts or polos. Any feedback would be appreciated. That damn blue dial haunts my dreams. If I may throw in a second question, jubillee vs oyster bracelet? Once again, I'm worried the jubilee might bee too dressy with super casual wear, but I could be wrong. I know all of this is subjective, but please indulge me, thanks.
