Boasting?57 complications and 2826 components housed within the 50.55mm-thick mechanical?pocket watch, the Vacheron Constantin Ref. 57260 piece boasts a 98mm case and is a bold statement of watchmaking mastery for the brand. The piece took eight years to develop,?and I'm told by one of the brand representatives that it was sold for "between five and twenty million dollars."Vacheron Constantin's Ref. 57260 - the most complicated watch ever madeHosting the night's festivities was Vincent Brun, Vacheron Constantin's North America President. Any steel 3700 aficionado's? Need some quick advice please!
Can anyone tell me if all things are equal (condition, b&p, etc) between a steel 3700/1 and a steel 3700/11, is there a difference in valuation and if so to what degree? 10%, 20% etc? Some dealers have told me no real difference in value as the only difference between the references is the clasp is 2mm narrower on the 3700/11. I understand the many factors that go into valuation but really trying to get a handle on the market for the two versions of the first steel 3700s. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks,Mike.
