Omega Speedmaster Tintin
What is your opinion about Speedmaster Tintin reference 311.30.42.30.01.004?Is it popular among Omega fans that may have a chance to become collectible in the future or it is just another among many variations of Moonwatch ?I have read story about Omega plans to celebrate Tintin moon landing with small rocket printed on the dail which was rejected by publisher but not sure if this and the fact that nobody knows how many of them were produced will make this particular model desirable.Long time Rolex and Panerai user I am new into Omega and would like to hear and learn more about this particular watch.Thank you very much for feedback. For all who have not seen watch or maybe forgotten a reference photo below.Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
5711 and Daytona
Hi guys,As promised a little double incoming, for the misses and myself. She hadn't seen them in real and was not used to man watches for woment, but after 1 hour she finds them great, when she got them I thought she will say that she wants to sell and buy something else, but now she finds them great.Sorry for the pics, will try to make better ones later, but the sun is out and we are going to visit the city. For those wondering I love the 5711, but it won't take the first place from the 5712 any time soon I think. Will try to make a group shot in Odessa, minus the 15300 which is in the bank in Paris. So quite interesting to get in the same day the 2 hardest to get steel watches of the moment.IMG_0755.jpgIMG_0753.jpgIMG_0749.jpg
My Pam 312 looks like its dead
I have a 312 that is not working at all. The second hand isn't even moving. The only thing that spins is the half circle that says panerai. Any ideas is it a quick fix, or does it have to be sent in for surgery. What's the warranty on it, and do I just go to an AD and drop it off or send it directly to Panerai. I appreciate the help. Thanks in advance
Should I the trigger on the WG Daytona on OF
My AD here in Toronto, Canada currently offering 18% off on the 2017 Basel Release WG Daytona on Oyster Flex. I think I can push for 20% to 22% off since I bought numerous watches from them in the past. Please give me your opinions whether the discount is good or not. The Grey market still sell close to MSRP on this particular model. Thanks for all of your comments.
Collection is Growing: New Tudor
Well, I finally took the plunge on my very first diver this past week. After daily wearing my trusty DJII for the past two years or so, I decided it was time to add something new to the collection. The DJII is a great all-around watch. It's suitable for almost any occasion, wearing well with anything from jeans to a suit. It will always be one of my favorite pieces in my collection, being my very first acquisition (not to mention that beautiful blue sunburst dial). One should be content with having such a beautiful piece as their one and only, but hanging around this forum is a bad influence. Meet my new Tudor Black Bay Blue. Pictures really don't do this reference justice. I know many are fans of the ETA version, but for some reason, I just prefer the straight line text and love the thought of the new in-house movement. This one is definitely a keeper:
