Tom Brady Joins TAG Heuer as Brand Ambassador at Carrera Heuer 01 Launch
TAG Heuer officially rolled out its new Carrera – Heuer 01 collection at a New York City launch event on October 13 and also made an additional surprise announcement, introducing New England Patriots quarterback and four-time Superbowl champ Tom Brady as its newest brand ambassador.The launch event, held at Spring Studio in TriBeCa, featured Jean-Claude Biver, TAG Heuer CEO and president of the LVMH Group Watch Division, calling the NFL star onstage for the announcement. Brady, who was wearing a brand-new TAG Heuer Carrera – Heuer 01 watch with a colorful strap, entertained the crown of media and retailer guests by throwing signed footballs to raise money for the charitable organization Best Buddies. Several lucky attendees who caught the footballs even walked away from the evening’s festivities with a special souvenir. My New AP Chrono!
Just received this Royal Oak Chrono, the Alinghi City of Sails from Tony G at JustRolexes. It was produced in 2003, one of 1250 made. It's 39mm, so a bit smaller than most of what AP is producing these days, and I like that it has kind of an offshore vibe but scaled down. Also, as you can tell from the position of the date, it has the 2385 movement, so is a relatively thin 11.5mm.I'm excited to have an AP in the rotation again -- I had a 15300 a while ago, but traded it in for my Nautilus. The AP fills a sporty but elegant role for me, more sporty than the Patek, but not as sporty as a Rolex.

Thoughts on Omega Caliber 3603 Movement
Hello,I'm considering an Omega Aqua Terra Chronograph GMT with the 3603 movement. I like how this movement has the 3 sub-dials as opposed to the 2 sub-dials of the new 9300/9301 movements (if and when they come to this particular watch). From what I hear, the new movements based on the caliber 8500 are a lot better then the old Omega movements, being completely in-house etc. However, I really like the look of the older version with 3 sub-dials.Any thoughts on whether the old 3603 movement is any good? Or should I wait to see how the new Aqua Terra Chronograph GMT will look, when it comes out?Thanks a lot.

I called three local ad's. First one told me it's an 8 year wait. Hahahahahah hahahahahah hahahahahah hahahahahah Second one said he thinks watch is coming out for sale end of summer and I'm number 5 on the list. Not bad I guess. Third one said watch is also due out end of summer early fall and I got on that list to. I will just have to wait and see how it goes but in pictures I love the watch and the bracelet.
