7,5 Inch wrist
Hi guys,I have a 7,5 inch wrist and felt in love with Super Avenger. I tried it on at my AD and they told me that a Avenger would fit me better. IMO I can pull it of but still I am not sureWhat do you guys think about 7,5 inch and Super Avenger? Does anyone has a pic of Super Avenger on 7,5 inch wrist and what is your opinion? Thanks in advance.
Incoming and my Patek story
As a child, I came across this beautiful watch at the local swap meet - a fake Patek Philippe. My mom saw how enthralled I was and asked if I wanted it for my birthday. I think it was around $150 after some wheelin, which was a lot of money back then for a working class family. I didn’t know about watches then but knew the real deal would be even sweeter, a goal to reach for. So I distinctly recall saying, all serious and with water in my eyes, “no thanks mom, I’m gonna be so stinkin rich and buy the real thing”. She smiled and said I can do it. I was maybe 12 at the time.... fast forward, I’m not quite there yet but the aspiration of owning a Patek never left my mind. I recently turned 27 and decided to fulfill a childhood dream. Yeah, today I’m grinning like a mad man.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5000 posts, Patek, TRF, and Friends
Finally hit 5,000 posts (small potatoes relative to many prolific posters here). TRF is a great forum with even BETTER PEOPLE. I've made many friends here, many of whom I talk to regularly. I'd also like to say Thanks to those who have offered me advice along the way. There are many members here who have such a deep knowledge of Patek, and their willingness to share is part of what makes TRF such a wonderful forum. TRF is an invaluable resource in watch collecting. Use it that's my advice! This has been a fantastic journey so far. So, what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a posting of my first Patek, the 5712/1a. This watch will always have a special place in my collection (thankfully I realized this quickly after selling my first one - dumb move, but hey, I learned!). Here's to the next 5,000 posts and beyond. ..
