Christophe Claret 21 Blackjack
Christophe Claret has released teaser images of his next new creation, called 21 Blackjack, which will officially debut next month during Baselworld. Coming on the heels of the Adagio’s launch last month in Geneva, 2011 is shaping up to be an annus mirabilis for the master from Le Soleil D'Or. Find wallpaper and pricing inside. The 21 Blackjack combines traditional timekeeping functions (hours and minutes) with three mechanically-animated games of chance: Blackjack (with a striking mechanism), roulette, and a dice game. Precisely how these games function remains in the shadows for the moment. We know that the dial contains a total of 5 windows: two for the bank activated by a push-button at 10 o'clock, and three for the player activated by a push-button at 8 o'clock. The hours and minutes are displayed quite traditionally by center-mounted metal and ruby or metal and ceramic hands. The 45mm case is available in four versions: grey titanium, black PVD-treated titanium, black PVD-tr
Oris Atelier Worldtimer Review On WatchReport.com
There are certain high-end Swiss watches that I've always admired for their style and function, among them is the Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual. It's a travel watch in the tradition of the Rolex GMT Master, but with a neat twist: It has two buttons that increment or decrement the local time. When you travel, simply press the buttons as required to jump to your destination time zone! Simple to use, hard to make and very functional. However, being a Swiss chronometer of in-house design, the Ulysse Nardin is out of my price range. Imagine my surprise and delight, then, at discovering that well-regarded Swiss brand Oris now has a similar watch, the Oris Atelier Worldtimer. Diver 15710
About ready to take the plunge later this year and buy the 15710 from my local AD and i could do with you guys to help tip me over the edge. Would love to know your thoughts on the Diver and if you have/had one what its like for a daily and all the pros and cons. Please do feel free to throw some pictures below too!
No clue
Is any of you have something like this? Use it?
Is my brand new Aquanaut Broken or do PP just suck???
Sorry for sounding frustrated but am going back to see my AD. I did read in someone's thread that the self winder can be heard on PP watches (but i don't expect that is every second of the day). I am Ok with hearing while going through real motion, just as you can hear it in a Rolex as well as my GP when you shake the watch and have it relatively close to your ear. My Aquanaut can be heard with a sound that's like ball bearings going around in a race when doing such menial tasks as typing on my PC at work. This CANNOT be right, if it is, my PP experience is going to be REALLY SHORT (as in less than a week). I would not be expecting to hear something like this in a $100 mechanical seiko (in fact I had one once and it did not make a noise). Beyond that I love the look.It is keeping perfect time so I really think this might be as good as it gets if so..... my PP dream is done. I struggled to even think today at work as all i could hear was a whirring zizzzing sound ever time I struck a ke
