Welcome back to an watches-dealer original series, where we discuss important stores that sell watches all over the world. Each store we profile has an interesting story to tell about where they operate and who they sell to. Whether you buy watches from brick and mortar retailers or prefer to buy watches online, these are the stores that help shape our watch culture around the globe. There is a long list of stores to cover, but if there is a retail location in your favorite city that we simply can't miss, let us know in the comments below. Here is a map of stores we have covered so far.Where to buy watches in Minneapolis, Minnesota?A lot of jewelry and watch stores take great pride in being multi-generational and having a history that stretches back nearly a century (or more, in some cases). A counter-point to that is Wixon Jewelers who are quite proud to be a first generation store, thank you very much. But they are far from being "new kids on the block." They have been selling watche
Vacheron Constantin Launches The Ultra Complicated Reference 57260, Plus Multiple Drop Dead Gorgeous New References At Watches & Wonders 2015
This is shaping up to be an absolutely astonishing year for Vacheron Constantin. Even without the Reference 57260 (which we covered for you here, and here, and here) it would have been an impressive year for VC just on the basis of its new Harmony Collection (which, you might remember, we looked at here and here, and which we also covered in the latest installment of Three on Three). But then, they dropped the Reference 57260 on us – and now, at Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong, they’ve give us even more. The name is just one of the many things that sound better in French; it means “cow’s horns” – and the watch is pretty much a solid, unadulterated dose of horological pleasure. This isn’t the first time you’ve seen it, if you follow HODINKEE, but having seen it in the metal, we can assure you, it’s every
Is the ROC the most underappreciated and Overlooked AP?
Its been on my Love list for a long time though it was a nice daily wear vintage rolex more than the 15300 and the base Royal Oaks, I loved the look, functionality, sportiness and sophistication of it. Recent pics on Rubber, and Crock straps have bolstered even more how its much more versatile than first meets the eye. Seems to me to be easily dressed up or sported up even moreso than the daytona. Just seems many WIS overlook the model and go full dress of the base/classic models or full sport of the ROO
AP ROO rubber glad to big for a kubik Swiss winder
I have purchased a Kubik Swiss watch winder and when I got the watch out after a few days for the first time, I noticed that it is a very tight fight even with the smaller watch holder. On inspection I also noticed that either side of the rubber strap there was small indents where it's too tight, any one hade the same problem or is there any bigger winders? Many thanks all.
Tried on a couple of models tonite
