15202ST - movement no location
Hey all!Does somebody know where the movement number is now located on the 15202ST?I saw a J series with engraved case number On The bottom and royal oak engraved at the top. Before there was the movement number an no royal oak at all. Maybe somebody could help. I think it's a new detail...Thanks in advance!
Incoming... It's been a while!
Oscar Bodybump found something for me after we just did a deal yesterday... Luckily he accepted my return as part of a deal towards something few have ever seen in person, and I don't think many (if at all) own on this Audemars subsection. The big reveal will be tomorrow! Omega Planet Ocean 8500 too thick for my taste. Looking for 2500
So I bought a Planet Ocean earlier this year for my first Omega (232.30.42.21.01.003). Now that I have had it for a few months, I just can't get past the thickness of the the case. After some research, it seems the thickness is due to the newer 8500 movement that replaced the older 2500 movement.I am wondering a couple of things. First, does anyone have direct side view comparison photo(s) available? Second, what would the model number for the aesthetically equivalent 2500 movement based watch be? Second, would anyone consider a trade? I know the 8500 movement is more expensive, but frankly, I'm more interested in a watch I enjoy wearing.(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, still new here at TRF)
When will Omega put out a new dive watch ??
Here's an interesting question. Omega redesigned the Seamaster Pro (the James Bond 2531.80 style, with the James Bond Bracelet) in what, 1994, 1995 or so ?? Then the Planet Ocean with the new Co-Axial movement came out in, like 2005, so my question is, when will Omega introduce a new Dive watch, and what do you think it will be/look like/the movement, etc. Knowing Omega, and how often they come out with new watches, who knows, but do you think the Planet Ocean will be thier flagship dive watch, like the original Seamaster has been before the PO for quite some time to come, or ??? I guess what I'm trying to say is, when will the Planet Ocean NOT be Omegas primary dive watch, and some other newly designed watch take the place of the PO ?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Rolex GMT-Master II 116710 BLNR
Hi Everyone. I am looking to purchase my first Rolex, and the one that caught my eye right off the bat was the GMT Master II 116710 BLNR. Unfortunately, that is also a very popular model, and I have heard some crazy wait times. Some promise to have it delivered by the end of the year, others are saying the wait list is 1-2 years, and a lot of retailers in Toronto wont even bother taking a deposit due to the excessive wait time's. As a new Rolex Buyer, I had a few questions for you guys:1) What are your thoughts on this watch?2) Are wait time's like these common? (I live in Toronto)3) If I put the deposit down now, am I locked in for the current asking price of $10,200 CAD, or is it possible that if Rolex increases the price, I will be paying the new updated priceThanks for your help!
