Horology Meets Astronomy: Geo. Graham the Moon
Most watch fans know Graham best for sporty models like the Chronofighter and Silverstone. Now the Swiss brand with British roots establishes its haute horlogerie bona fides with the new Geo. Graham the Moon limited edition, a complicated, astronomical-inspired timepiece with a flying tourbillon and a perpetual moon retrograde function. The watch, like the brand, is named for 18th-century clockmaker George Graham (1673-1751) who was a contemporary and friend to early astronomers such as Sir Isaac Newton. George Graham incorporated Newton’s theories of gravitation into his horological designs and was fascinated by the moon and its role in the development of timekeeping. Graham also built the master clock for the Greenwich Royal Observatory in London. The timepiece that bears his name which is limited to only 20 pieces worldwide pays tribute to that lunar fascination with its signature feature, a highly precise, perpetual, retrograde moon-phase indication whose cycle is calculate

have been eyeing the 15450 in YG for some time now.thought it'd be too small at 37mm, relative to the jumbo.but dammit if it doesn't wear oh so nicely.have a day-date president in YG (36mm), and the 15450 feels so much more substantial on wrist. having the DD has gotten me accustomed to enjoying sub-39mm sizes.but the heft and case lugs make the 15450 wear larger than 37.unsure if having 2 YG full bracelet watches is just too much.the DD is a perennial classic, understated and gentlemanly.whilst the 15450 is pure stunning... but the size allows it to be such without having to scream outloud for attention... which, IMO, might be the case if 40mm (given my wrist isn't particularly large at 7).as nice as the OR with grey dial is, the YG with blue is the clear winner for me.
Paperwork value?
I'm actively looking for a pre-owned ROO.What kind of hit in value would a fully documented serviced AP take if original paperwork not available?
The unthinkable is happening
For those who know me and follow my posts you know that I incredibly love my Patek 5712, well I still love it a lot, but I can honestly say that I love as much or even a little bit more my ceramic diver, I have been in Ukraine for 1 month, in Odessa, not where the civil war is raging, and took both of them, and clearly I wear much more my diver, maybe 70/30, never imagined that I would love this watch so much, but it's a truly awesome piece, and I've always wanted a ceramic watch, almost bought a Pam 335 a few years ago but went with a 233 dot dial instead, as much as I liked the Pam before it is in no way in the same league as the AP IMO.So thanks to all the enablers, Benlee in particular who posted many pics of his ceramic diver, and all the others who posted as well pics of this model, as much as I prefer the Nautilus models to the RO models, well except for the RG pieces, love the RG Jumbo and RG skeleton, but clearly prefer the PP SS models to the AP RO SS models, I incredibly lov
Yachtmaster 40 or Sky Dweller?
Hello!I have very strange question. Im now looking for some new Rolex.Really was hunting for new 116500LN Daytona, but price is too crazy and not good options.I also do like a lot 2 new models: 116655 new Yachtmaster 40mm and new 2017 steel Sky Dweller.I now have an option to buy new white dial Sky dweller for 15k EUR or new 40mm Yacht Master for 16,5k EUR. This watches are different, but I like both. Its very hard to choose. If anybody have some thoughts on that, please help me.
