Watches NEWS
Didn't take me long. Thinking of flipping up to a Diver. Questions!
I got my 15400 a few weeks ago and I love it. Awesome watch, no complaints. Thing is, I've always loved the diver and I'm thinking about flipping up to get it, despite the fact that AP is not in the top 3 anymore Not an option to have both right now. So, here are my questions:For those that have the diver and a 15400/15300, how does it wear? I've tried on the diver once and thought it was a little big but I'm willing to forgo that if it's super comfy and doesn't like huge on my wrist (6.75ish). I sold my BP cause it was too big but I had the Speedmaster 9300, which is 44mm and I thought it was a great size. Do you wear it as a daily beater? If not, why?Am I gonna regret losing the 15400 for the diver? Bear in mind that I'm a serial flipper and I rarely look back (except in the case of the HULK, which I've owned 3 times now). All assistance is appreciated. AP rock on!
Two Tone Breitling Watches
Hello everyone,I was thinking about buying a Breitling Galactic 36. I was wondering if the two tone is still rolled gold or do they use solid yellow gold or solid rose gold now?Thank you
Authentic Strap? 155S
Hi GuysSo i went on the bay to buy some rubber straps for my chronospace. The guy had a few straps for sale but what made me pull the trigger and thinking it's authentic is that he also had a breitling jacket for sale so kinda made me think he was an enthusiast. When they finally arrived from the netherlands i checked out one of his feedbacks saying that it was a fake...so not too sure what to think. Hoping you guys could shed some light..Thanks!
Sky Dweller?? To pull trigger or not...
My AD has a 2 tone Sky Dweller with white face in stock. I am tempted to get it, but was leaning towards Stainless with blue face. My AD had no idea when that model would be available. I'm relatively new to the Rolex world, but find it curious that stainless is preferred over 2 tone. I guess its price point to some extent? Anyway, any advice guys/gals?
A Dilemma. Which of these Three...
Evening All,A first world question for you. Up until very recently, I had decided that my first Rolex was to be a SS Sky Dweller. I simply adore the watch, and it has everything I want in a watch. However, as I have to wait to get one, I sat back and took a really serious look at the brand (something I had not before in great depth). In doing so, and like many here, I've become captivated by Rolex. Having been so captured, I have found two further beauties and now face something of a wonderful dilemma. If one of the following three watches was to be your first Rolex for at least 2-3 years before picking up a second (and possibly final watch), which would you get and why?1. 16610LV;2. GMT 1675 based on your birth year, or near as dammit; or3. SS Sky Dweller in any face, but I prefer white.I suspect that many will advise 1. or 2. based on the fact that they are harder to get, and vintage prices are continually rising. Also, 3. will have a production run for a few years before stop
