Artya Bye Bye Euro Watch
Few watch brands would do something wild like this, but Artya would! Strange and poetic, you have to appreciate the political message and sentiment behind the brand's new one-of-a-kind "Bye Bye Euro" timepiece. It combines humor and art to comment on the fact that the Euro as a currency might have not been the best idea. While not an economic or European politics expert, I have spent a fair amount of time listening to people (in Europe) lament the Euro and what it has done to both well-established and developing economies. The failings of countries such as Greece and Italy help reenforce some of the problems that the adoption of the European Union currency caused to many places. It now makes sense why countries such as England and Switzerland did not sign on as full European Union members and retained their own domestic currency.Artya's Yvan Arpa decided to play on the concept of the low confidence for the Euro by many people by making this watch. Opinions on Breitling Chrono SuperOcean
Tried two on today. The blue dial with white subdials and the silver dial with blue subdials. Very substantial watch at 42mm and heavy as hell. The silver dial really smiled at me. 4165 msrp, first offer 3500 from AD. I think I can do better but the recent price increase was pretty substantial, old MSRP was 3540. Anyone out there have experience with the chrono? Thanks,
Thoughts about first Patek purchase
Hello All,This is my first post. I am very interested to expand my collection to include PP. I have a Navitimer GMT I would like to dump but I still want a watch with a GMT function. My question is this, would you rather have a Rolex GMT II BLNR and a 5167, or just a 5164?Cheers.
Dealer dropped new watch - OK to request a new one?
Rolex owner here and first time poster (I also attempted to post this note a few minutes ago but not sure it ever posted so apologies if this is a repeat). I really love the brand and have a keen appreciation for the sport models in particular after picking up a BLNR GMT a few years ago.I went to finalize purchase on a new Datejust for my wife yesterday from an AD. After purchase was complete, the dealer accidentally dropped the watch from about 4-5ft onto the store carpet as they were sizing it for my wife's wrist. I was taken aback as I've never dropped mine more than a few inches onto a bed after a long day of business travel.I inspected the watch and didn't find any large scratches, issues with the crown or sapphire, but was also a bit uncomfortable about the situation as both the person helping us and the store manager were hovering over me as I did so. Even though I know these watches are meant to be workhorses, and will inevitably develop marks and scratches over time, I was uns

Good Afternoon, I am considering buying a Yacht Master 37 everose gold.I have been offered a 2016 model with box and papers for 12,950.00 would you say this is a reasonable price? also is this watch likely to hold its worth? Thanks for the help.
