Here's what a fully disassembled Royal Oak Offshore Looks Like
During my last visit to Mexico City I was surprised by an old friend with a fully disassembled AP ROO. A treat to the eyes.
HELP ME! Seamaster 2254.50 [REAL] or [FAKE]?
I want to purchase a Seamaster 2254.50 from a trf member but after comparing the watch with stock photos, I'm not 100% convinced the watch is real. Here are the pictures the member provided. imgur/a/PpWLtWhat concerns me the most is the scuffed bezel, especially the zero in the 30 at 6 o'clock. I haven't came across other Omegas where the bezel paint is coming off.Other thing I want to know is has the watch been polished? So is the Omega real or fake?
My relatively new PO died :(
Well I bought my PO from a local AD less than a year ago and something has gone wrong with the winding mechanism.I wear this watch at least 4 days a week at work and usually it will stop on my days of as my PAM 312 gets all the love.I noticed a couple weeks ago it seemed to be stopping within a day of being taken off. Then a few days ago it would no longer stay on through the night after being worn all day.Now it will wind, but it starts and stops sporadically and the crown will slightly roll back the other direction after being wound.I've sent it in for warranty service, but my dealer says it's a 4-6 week turnaround. Any idea what's wrong? I'm just curious as I won't know for almost two months what happened to it :(It's a 2201.5 I think.
Owners Manual Changes?
Just noticed that my manual for my 5711 is for several different movements where as all my other manuals are specific to the calibre in that particular watch i purchased. Is this new or are all 5711 books like this? Here is both my 5711 and 5712 manuals... as you can see the one on top covers multiple watches and movements and is no longer specific to the Nautilus. Where as the 5712 manual only covers that single movement.
