It's that time of the year again. The jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve – the world's most important horological awards – has been announced. Not only do we retain the illustrious Mr. Clymer, Goldberger, Dufour, Bacs, and more, but we also pick up a few new additions. The most notable of the new jury members is actually a HODINKEE alum – KISS drummer Eric Singer. Thinking about a new acquisition, 5227r vs 5170r
I'm thinking about adding a dress watch to the collection. My current favorites are the 5170r (silvery dial) and the 5227r. I know they are different and at different price points, but they seem comparable.
