GasGasBones
Hello- I am looking to get a strap for my Speedmaster and was thinking about getting a velcro GGB. Are there other recommended straps (I like the nasa label)?Out of the GGB ones, are there any thoughts on the spv1 vs the spv2, spv3 or spv4?.gasgasbones/ggb-goodi...raps/spv1.html.gasgasbones/ggb-goodi...raps/spv2.html.gasgasbones/ggb-goodi...raps/spv3.html.gasgasbones/ggb-goodi...raps/spv4.htmlThanks for any help
8500 Aqua Terra Reviews
Given the reasonable price point of the 8500 Aqua Terra I keep coming back to consider it. The highly reflective hour indicators catch my eye, which may be a result of the 100 overhead lights at the AD. Since this will be my first mechanical I enjoy having the exhibition caseback. From what I can tell the 8500 is a movement I can be proud to show off. I'd like to buy the watch on a bracelet and then switch it to a deployment leather band to start out. My AD says that is a better approach economically. 23113422106001-20.JPGcaseback.jpgI'd love to hear other owners thoughts on this time piece. I'm targeting the dark grey face with SS case. thanks in advance
Flightmaster, Question
Greetings everyone. I am looking to add a Flightmaster to my collection. I don't have a lot of Omega knowledge, and honestly, only one watch (speedmaster), but the Flightmaster has intrigued me for a long time and I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger and get one. What I'm confused about, is the difference between the 910 and 911, first and second generation Flightmasters. Specifically, what is the purpose of the register at the 9:00 position in the 910? It shows up to 24, and looks to be a day/night indicator of some kind, is that what it is? Simply showing the current time (coinciding with the regular hour and minute hands of the watch) in military? Or is it an independent time zone indicator? So the watch actually has Three timezones(?). Anybody with knowledge of this I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks,
5170R or 5327R?
Which one would you pick ? I am in london for few days and found both. Please help me take the decision. Cheers
