H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time Watch
Looking to combine something as practical as a two time zone watch with something as delicate and prestigious as a tourbillon? Well, Swiss H. Moser & Cie has the watch for you, with the lovely looking new H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time. The watch also happens to feature the first tourbillon-based movement offered by H. Moser & Cie, and it contains dual hairsprings along with some other interesting features that I will discuss below. In short, H. Moser & Cie presents a tourbillon watch potentially capable of overcoming the accuracy issues inherent in many tourbillon watches. For those who understand tourbillons, this is a clear irony. From a design perspective, the H. Moser & Cie Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time very much fits into the larger H. Moser & Cie collection when it comes to aesthetics and simplicity. Looking deeper, you see 1960s watch design as well as Bauhaus influence. In many ways, the design DNA of H. St. Dupont "Service Without Fail" RAID Watch
Here is some serious French testosterone in a watch. Made for or influenced by the special, elite operations branch of the national French police known as RAID. The highly secretive special force is interesting because they often recruit people directly from the public, as opposed to existing police or military personnel. The purpose of the group as part of the national police, is to combat and investigate major crimes and terrorism. RAID stands for "Recherche Assistance Intervention Dissuasion." In English, "Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence." They seem to kick enough ass to get a watch made for them with their logo on it.St. Dupont make watches, among other luxury items, and will soon release a limited edition set of these RAID watches. The "Service Without Fail" part of the name is apparently RAID's motto. At first glance I like the watch. It is a bit "heavy" on the eyes, and does feature a extreme boldness, but in an appealing way. Although the watch does feature a des

Need Speedy Help
I am considering trading in (selling) in my 1978 Speedy Pro to get a newer Goldie Speedy. The Goldie I'm looking at is offered just as the head, without a bracelet, unfortunately. So I have some questions for you Speedy guys:1. What is your opinion of the Gold vs. SS Speedy (pros and cons and general thoughts)?2. Do any of you know where I would be able to source a gold bracelet for the Speedy should I decide to make the switch, and how much it would cost?3. Anyone have a gold speedy with or without bracelet who would want to post pics?I appreciate your input.-Vital
Added an Silver AT to the collection
Hey guys, just wanted to share with you my latest Omega acquisition.I wanted to buy something that would dress up nicely, but still remain sporty when worn with a bracelet. I think this silver faced Aqua Terra is the perfect blend. It's so versatile! Black for evening wear, brown for business casual, and bracelet for sportswear. Thanks for looking!
