Is META Watch Pursuing A Patent On All Analog/Digital Dial Smartwatches?
META Watch was co-founded by Bill Geiser, who earned his watch industry stripes while working at Fossil. Whatever you might say about Fossil products, what you need to know is that it is run by some extremely smart and professional people out of its Dallas, Texas, headquarters. Geiser went on to be one of the earliest proponents of modern smart watches. According to him, he has been wearing a Bluetooth connected watch for about five years now C perhaps the only one wearing one for so long. Today, Bill Geiser is the CEO of META Watch that recently released the Frank Nuovo-designed M1 smartwatch collection (hands-on here, with interview). Frank Nuovo is a former head of design at Nokia and designed the M1 collection C which I thought was actually pretty interesting.Anyhow, even though META is putting considerable resources behind the M1 smartwatch collection, it is only the start of what Bill feels are a series of major evolutionary steps for the smartwatch industry. Royal oak pricing?
Hello all,I'm sure we are all aware about PP Nautilus prices increasing significantly (both primary and secondary markets). This seems to have gotten more people interested in the Royal Oaks and Royal Oak Chronos. While the 15202 was always popular, the 41mm models are becoming more popular and harder to get than before as well. Do you guys think we are also going to see an increase in the MSRP for RO/ROC? With the 5 year roadmap to close all ADs + in-house movement for ROC at some point, do we see it pushing north of $30k to acquire in a couple years?Let the speculation commence!

Gmt II steel pepsi ... wait time not too bad
After speaking to my Trusted AD , they have advised that they expect to see the first new GMT pepsi june / julySo hopefully not too long to wait .i should get the first one in their store . I have a good history with the Ad as they delivered me a Hulk no wait, daytona white face (waited 3 years) c black ( waited 18 months)The AD advises that when they asked their Rolex official contact a bit back if they would ever produce a pepsi bezel in steel the answer was No . As it costs too much to produce the bezel. So they must have found a way of making it more cost effective. He reckons he will only possibly see 3 pieces per year to begin withHe has spaces on his list .
