SIHH 2015: Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum (Updated with Live Photos and Prices)
Montblanc has launched a number of new travel-oriented watches at SIHH 2015 in Geneva. One of them, the Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is a new take on the world timer, showing the hour in 24 time zones at once.The Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum uses an intuitive and visual method to represent world time. The center-mounted hour and minutes hands provide the local time. A rotating 24-hour ring encircles the dial; the small red arrow at 6 o’clock points to the local hour on the ring.The most prominent aspect of the watch, though, is at the center of the display. A sapphire crystal layer within the dial shows the Northern Hemisphere as seen from the North Pole. The continents are cut out, while the surrounding oceans are in blue. As day turns into night, the lower layer of the dial shifts, so that the continents that had been white turn black, and vice versa. Kobe Bryant Joins Hublot’s Roster of All-Star Athletes
Hublot continues its domination of the sports world with the signing of all-star Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant as its newest “brand ambassador.” Like other high-profile athletes in Hublot’s stable, including fellow NBA star Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, Olympic runner Usain Bolt, and soccer star Diego Maradona, Bryant will lend his name to a limited-edition Hublot timepiece.The partnership was announced this week at a VIP event on the rooftop of the London Hotel West Hollywood, hosted by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, and attended by an array of celebrities including late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, actors Zac Efron and Garcelle Beauvais, and star stylist Brad Goreski. The watch, called the King Power Black Mamba in honor of Bryant’s NBA nickname, made its debut at the event, presented to Bryant by Guadalupe, along with a Jeroboam of rare Dom Perignon vintage 1988 Champagne. James Bond Weekend Coming September 10 and 11
The James Bond Enthusiast Weekend is part of the first-ever “Bond Watches, James Bond Watches” exhibition at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, PA. The display includes the widest selection of 007-related watches ever assembled. Highlighting the exhibit is the only known Rolex owned and worn by Bond creator Ian Fleming – believed to be his reference for the original, literary James Bond wristwatch. The weekend kicks off Friday night September 10 with a black tie-optional Bond-themed Casino Night that will include poker, blackjack, and slot machines. Does anyone know if a 20mm planet ocean bracelet fit on a SMP? I know the widths are the same but I'm not sure if it'll match.

Hour Vision - Anyone own one?
I have been interested in this watch, but unfortunately have not seen one in the flesh. I live in the 12th largest city in the US, but there is no longer a single Omega AD in town, and not even one within a few hours drive! So, I thought I'd see if anyone here has one, and find out what they think of it, and if they have any wrist shots etc.I am particularly interested in comparisons with a Datejust.
