RG 44 dining at The Ritz
We've had some talk that the 44 ROOs can't easily be worn with a suit so I thought I'd wear my RG to the fanciest of dinners; Puttin' on the Ritz. It fit just fine under a normal shirt and suit and I completely forgot I was wearing the watch the entire time. However this was part due to the most wonderful dining experience. The dining room is majestic and makes you feel like a prince, but then the glorious food and impeccable and friendly service had me elevated to feeling like a king. I also ordered a dish off the menu, my favourite, and they made it specially for me and even with no supplementary charge. It was a Tournedos Rossini, a filet steak topped with foie gras and black truffles. It happened to be the fave of the sommelier too, word had got around of my special order, and he was so excited to see it he actually brought my dish out and removed the cloche himself to present it to me. I should have offered him a bite but luckily he had drinks to pour elsewhere Other highlights i

A Christmas Incoming!
Well, what can I say. This one has been calling my name...ever since I flipped it earlier this year. Not the first time I've flipped this model, but definitely the most painful. Anywho...I did a little shuffling around in the collection and my secret (well, maybe not so secret) Santa Patrick made my Christmas dreams come true. And...since I just had the big 6-0 this month, retired from a second career, and it is well...Christmas, I thought, what better time to make this happen?OK. So in my haste to size it, wrap it and put it under the tree, I forgot to take a pic. Sorry guys. I know how we like pics here. But...I did snap this pic of the aftermath. Hey, better than nothing, right? Check out all the cool stuff Patrick put in his care package. And I promise to share a pic or two when I've opened my present on Christmas Day.
Buying guide Rolex Melbourne
Hi guys,New to the forum, so any assistance or advice is much appreciated. I am in kind of dilema as I am needing a watch for my engagement party at $9-10kUSD. I always love submariner and would like to get the cheapest entry which is the stainless steel no date/date in black and green. I have been trying to get one for 1.5 year with no luck. One of the boutique manager is really nice but he has been struggling to get one as well. Can you guys give me recommendation whether I should still wait or get it from overseas? Thank you,Clow
