The Versace Watch Co. Ltd has recently unveiled its fascinating jewellery watch christened Versace Gemea. It catches and holds the gaze with its tonneau-shaped case rendered in 18-carat white gold. The 22mm case is encrusted with a river of sparkling top Wesselton diamonds. Thoroughly chosen with respect to their cut, color and clarity, the precious stones have been mounted in ascending and descending size on the entire periphery of the case in order to produce an incredible effect of movement.

Scott Carpenter has died.
I just learned that Scott Carpenter, one of the original Mercury astronauts, has died. I have always admired America's first space pioneers, of which Scott was among the very first group. He was the second to orbit the Earth.As I have posted before, earlier this year, I bought the commemorative Breitling Cosmonaute, a Navitimer similar to the one worn by Commander Carpenter during that mission. The watch has a 24 hour dial. The case back bears his name.It just so happened that I am wearing that watch today, the day of Commander Carpenter's death. I'm glad to wear it today, of all days, it helps me to pause and wish Commander Carpenter Godspeed as he begins his next journey.Thank you for your service, to America and to humankind, Commander. 2018 Basel ....Pepsi GMT Jubilee SS (not Coke)
I know that the general consensus or at least the most talked about potential release this year is the Coke bezel GMT on a jubilee bracelet.However, I will put this out there that it will be a Pepsi GMT on jubilee bracelet (SS). My reasons are as follows:WG Pepsi GMT discontinued so keeping Pepsi GMT in the line up would be okNew Pepsi GMT will be on jubilee so it won't piss off current owners who bought WG on a oyster bracelet for $$$. Rolex will also make it so that owners can't just swap out a jubilee for oyster bracelet (using Sub or BLNR bracelet) because Rolex will alter the case dimensions slightly due to new movement. Therefore you won't be able to make you new Pepsi GMT look like a WG Pepsi GMT.Extend the life of the Pepsi bezel and recoup more R&D costs because it's only been out since 2014. Why stop Pepsi GMT after a few years. They can still sell boatloads of Pepsi because WG priced normal people out of the market. They can run with Pepsi GMT for another 5-6 years
