Christopher Ward C9 Harrison 5-Day Automatic Review
When Christopher Ward announced their SH21 movement, I made my excitement pretty well known. I mean, it's not everyday that a brand announces their first in-house movement…. let alone an affordable on-line only brand… one that has only been around for only 10 years. So, it was a big deal when it happened. Of course, the sheer fact that they made it wasn't the only exciting part, so too were the movements features and the price of the first watches they were going. For a reasonable $2,075, the C Ward released a 5-day automatic chronometer. Specs like that, at that price, in a brand's first movement was more than just a leap forward for the brand, it was a statement to the industry that it could be done.Needless to say, I was very excited recently when a box showed up at my door containing the Christopher Ward C9 Harrison 5-Day Automatic inside, the first of their watches to showcase the SH21 movement. AP In House Chrono
Hello all, been super busy, so excuse me if we've discussed this previously.Has there been any talk of AP releasing their own chrono movement (other than simple forum chatter)? With so many other companies shying away from utilizing anything other than 'in house', it seems AP would follow suit. I'm very curious if this is a possibility in the next year or two as I'm strongly considering a 15400 purchase. However, I would actually prefer a 42mm ROO if they changed to in house movements. Call me snobby, but I just dislike the idea of dropping so much $ on a watch without in house.Thoughts?
I wish...
I could purchase my royal oak... Need to save given I don't want to finance a watch... Sad day visiting ad... It's the worst walking out empty handed
Got stung by the Bee!
Awaiting my ROO RC to come back from APSC, who have confirmed it will take another full two weeks, I picked up a Bumble Bee today. Thanks to Mike's review, which I must've read 10 times, and the entourage of his wrist shots, I must say he must be crowned the AP enabler!Without further detail, here we go....again. 5525 pilot watch
After seeing Jed's recent unveil it got me thinking about the 5525.Has anyone seen one in the wild yet?
