Omegas holding value
Hi all. Newbie here. Getting abit addicted. I landed here to learn about and buy a rolex but I absolutely love the 42 mm planet ocean.My question is do they hold their value well? Is a 2-8 yr old model a good choice from an investment standpoint?Thanks

I wanted to see if we could discuss (for what's it worth....) a few rumors I've been seeing/hearing along the way in 2016, and feel free to add any others you may have come across. 1. Discontinuation of 5131R Enamel World Timer: The rumor is that this reference could be discontinued and Patek may introduce something with no crown guards and in-line with the new 5230 world timer, putting an end to the enamel dialed WTs altogether. Perhaps we should seize the moment and acquire the 5131R now!? 2. Panerai steel alloy
Hey guys,I was wondering about the steel alloy that Panerai uses for their cases. I found that it is easier to scratch and different to polish than 316l from brands like Omega and Breitling, I have to adjust the polishing machine RPM in order to get the right finish.904l (Rolex) gives me the best results though.
