This is the best looking Baume & Mercier we've seen in a while.? In fact, we would even call it downright awesome looking.? What it is is a Pre-SIHH 2012 announcement - a new Capeland Flyback chronograph in the same family as the one we saw launched last January, but with a twist.Last year's Capeland featured a clear white dial, but we are partial to this new rich black iteration with gilt Breguet hands and red scales.? The Capeland is indeed an integrated flyback chronograph, a pretty slick movement and definitely fitting for the aesthetic and 1940s inspiration.?The Capeland Flyback in black is sized at 44mm and will be available in Spring 2012.? Patek 5164 on nato
I just picked up the 5164a and while I love the rubber strap, I really wanted to dress it down even further and put it on an extra black leather nato strap I had. It is incredibly comfortable and think the 5164 looks better this way than even my Sea Dweller. Comments welcome.
