AP Family Portraits
With my second AP now in my hands I decided to visit my sleeping beauties in at the bank.I need an upgrade to a bigger watch box (as I have a Breitling and Daytona in another deposit box) but these are what I call my AP-Rolex cousins.I correspond my weekend watches with my daily watches. Panda and Yachtmaster as my weekenders, Diver and GMTc as my dailies.I feel like phase one of my collection is complete. Please post up pictures of your family!(excuse the crap photos, iPhone at the vault room with bad lighting. and I despise the flash)Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk
Post-Incoming - AT 'gauss
Hi all,(post-incoming because I already have it!)Omega contacted me today to let me know that this piece was in, so I headed straight to the boutique. I'm told by the staff there that this is the first one in the country, I'm pretty excited to have it!It is amazing that Omega have managed to make an anti-magnetic movement/case, and still have a date window and a display back.Sorry for only posting one shot, I'll try to get some better pics soon and upload some more. :)
Buzz Aldrin's Speedie
A lot of us know that it was lost or stolen; but what's your best guess as to its whereabouts? Do you think some low level dry cleaner snagged it and it sits in a drawer somewhere? Or could it have been sold on some underground WIS network?
need help with purchase
Hello everybody,I hope this is allowed.I am new to the forum and have been reading trough your posts for awhile now. I finally decided on a small Datejust as my first ROLEX. I have a two year old and live by the beach so I am looking into something simple and everyday worthy but dependable and timless. I looked trough several recommended online sites, ADs and some of your member website but eventually found this:Brand new with papers and boxLadies26 Pink Dial SSOyster Braceletfor $5295 retail $6100Now I am a little confused about the pictures showing those little grooves on the side of the body.I can not find any other references or pictures for this model with those grooves.Too good to be true? Jubilee band on a 116622 yachtmaster.
I have a older style jubilee band that I want to try to put on my 116622, I know the end links I have now won't work so my question is what end links and spring bars should I get for this to work. Thanks for any advice
