Perrelet Moon Phase Watch Line
The new Moon Phase watch from Perrelet drew my attention because of the sophisticated formal looks, and the big moon. A new trend in mechanical moon phase watches is the use of a large "realistic" -looking moon. The moon phase window in the watch takes up almost half of the dial and is more than just a side complication. It is the main draw of the watch!Depending on who you are, knowing the phase of the moon is useful (you lycanthrope!) or trivial. Either way it does look fancy, and makes for a spiffy look for a man, or a woman. And at 40mm wide, it is a size that is big, but not obscenely so for a woman (see the diamond-bezel version?with the white alligator strap to see what I mean).A Moon Phase complication is inherently part of an overall calendar complication. The Moon Phase uses a dial periphery based date calendar, in addition to displaying the time. Inside the watch is a Perrelet automatic mechanical P-11 movement (with a 40 hour power reserve). The watch isn't too big either a
Where to buy? 22mm black alligator strap for PO deployment.
Guys, does anyone know of a online store i can buy a black alligator leather strap (deployment ready) for my PO 45mm?I've tried eBay and there are some cracking ones there, but i cant count on quick - I need to get this in my hands by end of Wednesday I'm not interested in buying one from Omega. $400 is too much for something I can find EXACTLY the same (sans Omega logo on the inside of strap) for between $150-200.Thanks!
Patek Philippe Digital
OKSo while reading some watch history I saw Patek made a digital.Does anyone have a pic???Know where I can find one, I could not find one.Any idea as to their value?

Trade in for a dress watch
So, lately my watch collection has become very slanted toward “tool watches”, especially with a 50 fathoms mil-spec on the way. I really don’t have something to wear for dressier occasions and I’ve fallen out of love with my IWC. I’m not a giant DJ or DD fan. And I prefer to keep it under 40mm.I was thinking of trading in my IWC Portuguese and FOIS (plus cash) for one of the below:1. YM 116621 brown dial2. Vacheron patrimomy traditionnelle3. H. moser center seconds with a funky blue dial.4. Lange Saxonia ultra-thin 37mm I know a YM isn’t technically a “dress watch”, but I feel with TT and a slim design, it can wear as a dressy watch.
