Ulysse Nardin and Visconti Create Unique Fountain Pen
For more than 165 years, Ulysse Nardin has created exclusive timepieces. Now the manufacture from Le Locle has teamed up with writing instrument specialist Visconti to present a classic communication tool the reflects the finest traditions of passion and craftsmanship. The fountain pen is hewn from a block of deep Ulysse Nardin blue resin. More than 20 steps are required to produce the resin sections alone. The metal parts, made of 18k gold or .925 sterling silver, are produced in Florence at the Visconti headquarters. The pen’s patented mechanical parts offer many attractive features, such as the bayonet closure system with safety mechanism whereby the cap can be locked shut with just a quarter turn. The filling system provides maximum writing autonomy – equivalent to about 10 ink cartridges. Another system prevents ink spillage during flights. New to Me Vintage Omega
I found this while shopping around a little today in Tulsa OK between appointments. Has ingraving on the back for a 25 year service award from 1981. I am noticing that a lot of these watches are engraved on the back for a 25-30 year service award. This on has the original box and everything seem below. I did notice that the de ville on the dial is in script font versus block lettering. Can someone help shed a little bit of light on this piece and possibly a value of it? The bracelet is an original Omega leather strap with the gold Omega buckle. Also the Crystal is original as it has the Omega symbol in the center of the plexi.

Good Planet GMT or Liquid Metal Chronograph?
I currently own a Good Planet GMT, but I've been considering selling it, then purchasing a Liquid Metal Chronograph. I'm really on the fence and need some input from others. Also, would the other non-LM chorno's be a better investment than the LM?

Gold hands
I never quite understood the appeal of gold hands in a steel cased Panerai until yesterday. WOW! In the right light, they REALLY GLOW / STAND OUT against the dial. It even seems to enhance legibility (although that's not much of an issue on a big faced Panerai watch). Mesmerizing. Anyone have pics of what I'm talking about?

Sub or the new OP in Black
Hi all...I have a new Sub on deposit, it is still in its coffin in the AD's safe, the AD agreed to let me do that until we heard from Basel if the SUB was going to updated or not, if it had been I would have waited for a new updated Sub, but atlas the Sub remained unchanged! Meanwhile, I always liked the OP 39 with the Crown on the top but never liked the colours and pips that were available, until yesterday! I really like the new OP in Black, I think it's Rolex's most understated best release this year.So opinions please, buy a new Sub as my first Rolex watch or go for the OP in Black?
