Cyrus Klepcys Alarm Watch With Chiming Alert
This is a timepiece for the serious collector, in my opinion, and the story behind the movement inside of the Cyrus Klepcys Alarm watch is, in many ways, just as interesting as the watch itself. To fully appreciate the Cyrus Klepcys Alarm watch that debuted this year in 2015, you also need to understand what companies are related to Cyrus, as well as the other watch that contained the same movement this year, and why that means the Cyrus Klepcys Alarm has to be a limited edition. The people who own Cyrus also own Chronode - a company that designs watch movements, run by Jean-Francois Mojon. We've featured and often celebrated the work of Jean-Francois Mojon over the years, and in a sense, he is a part of Cyrus given how closely they work together from both a proximity and business standpoint. One of Chronode's clients is Hublot, and in 2015, Hublot released the Big Bang Alarm Repeater watch collection that also contains this base movement.Hublot allowed Cyrus to produce some movements f
My First Grail Watch: Sebastien Chaulmontet Of Arnold & Son
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're speaking with Sebastien Chaulmontet, who heads the movement team at Arnold & Son. You'll also note that he's an avid collector enamored with chronographs, just like many of us.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Sebastien Chaulmontet (SC): I am head of movement development at Arnold & Son, and I am also part of the design team.ABTW: When did your fascination with watches start?Sebastien Chaulmontet: As a child; I was 10 years old. I bought my first vintage watch (a simple ladies' Omega) at a flea market. I wanted to give it to my mother for her birthday. It cost me 10 CHF at the time (around USD 10) and I still remember the day and place where I bought it. My mother still has the watch today and she remembers fondly that I bought

AP 15450ST Concerns?
I've had a 15300 before and kinda regret selling it. However the bracelet always felt a tad too wide for my 6,3 wrist. Been researching about this 15450 but had some fears that it would be too small, bracelet too dainty, hard hit on the resale value bla bla bla. Today I pulled the trigger on a white dialed 15450st. It is none of what I feared it would be. It is not too small and bracelet fit was amazing. It wears almost like my 39mm explorer 1. So you folks who has been considering this size but had fears and concerns, dont worry. This 15450 is a timeless piece done right. Unless of course you're 7 foot tall with 7 wrist. But yea I'll post some pics that hopefully might enable some of you to grab one too.
