44mm ROO advice
Please be easy as I'm not a ROO owner (yet) but have a few Q's1: With the rubber strap and ceramic bezel taking out the most prone areas to scratch, how bad is the case at picking up marks given its size? 2: What colour rubber straps are available for the 44mm, I've seen blue, black, white and grey. Due to this I'm assuming the bright colours are just for the 42mm's as the strap is from the divers?!3: What strap changing tool do you use, I've seen a few use the genuine AP one but been unable to find any, the other is the one offered by AP bands 4: With strap changes is it best to remove the strap from the plots or remove the strap with the plots in place (I've seen some straps sold with plots fitted)5: How easy are buckle changing and cost depending would it be easier to buy a couple of extra tang buckles and leave them on each strap?Think thats it for now
PO 8500 on Isofrane
Just bought a 20mm isofrane strap from a member here on the forums and I must say I'm impressed. I was always if the mindset that $100 is way too much for a rubber strap, but I must say the quality of the strap is outstanding. The rubber is thick yet incredibly soft and pliable on the wrist, very comfortable. The RS buckle is forged stainless steel and super thick, looks and feels like a super high quality strap should. I cant reccomend this strap more, here are some pics!!
Panerai 619 - Thoughts?
Just picked up the Panerai 619, my first Panerai which compliments two Rolex's (Sub C and Steel Daytona) in my collection. So far I'm pleased... I like how it's look and lite weight is different then the look and weight of my Rolex watches. Nice alternative to my rotation. I haven't read many reviews or perspectives on the 619. Is it a limited edition Panerai? What do people have to say about the 619? I'd welcome others thoughts on the 619. Thanks for any comments.
Budget Oyster bracelet for my 16700
Hi all, I am looking to get an oyster bracelet for my GMT 16700, which is currently on a Jubilee. The only issue is I am on a budget and all the bracelets I am finding are $800+. My question is if I get a cheaper 7835 bracelet, can I fit 20mm end pieces on it and fit it onto my GMT 16700 without it looking awful? Thanks, all in advance.
Help! GMT Master II Bracelet Question!!
Hi,Is that hanging part, the part that you move for the fine adjustment on the bracelet supposed to snap in underneath or not? I am used to Submariner bracelets so forgive me if this is a dumb question.imgur/a/mH6YMimgur/a/e11d6Thanks,Michael
