Found: A Magnificent World War II Rolex 3525 And The Story Of The RAF Officer Who Wore It
One big reason to love vintage watches is because they tell us stories – they seem to represent the soul of their former owners, who trusted and loved their timepieces and wore them through thick and thin. In this regard, this chronograph from Rolex not only embodies an amazing life of both tragedy and heroism – it's a symbol of bravery and dedication to freedom as well. 1 OF 9 The Rolex depicted here is a reference 3525 chronograph from the 1940s, with antimagnetic properties. They're very different, so this is not your typical which is better, 114060 vs 116610 type of talk. It's not really apples to apples. I know there are many variables to consider when squaring these two watches off. There's retail price, secondary market price and demand, oyster bracelet and PCLs vs Oysterflex. It's not really a fair comparison to make and to be fair, these two watches don't compete for wrist time. They both have a time and place in my rotation. I absolutely love both pieces and l
Yellow Gold Daytona Oysterflex Strap
What are people's thoughts on the Yellow Gold Daytona Oysterflex Strap? Still can't make up my mind. I think it's a beautiful watch but am not 100% sure
