Watches NEWS
a Ferrari watch will always be in style
One thing is for sure, a Ferrari watch will always be in style. It makes little difference what year a Ferrari was manufactured or what the current fashion style is. A luxury watch from Ferrari becomes a continuous symbol that leaves a memorable impression. Ferrari watches are considered to be among the best in fashion because they cater to number of different tastes. Whatever you prefer when it comes to watches you are sure to find what you are looking for by purchasing a watch from Ferrari.
Royal Oak 40th anniversary book
Anyone know where I might get one? Or does anyone have an extra they wouldn't mind selling?
speedmaster strap question
I'm completely new to Omega. Lately I've become interested in the sapphire sandwich speedmaster, either 3573 on a bracelet or 3873 on a strap. Love the watch itself, but having trouble getting excited about the Omega bracelet. Its probably just because its different than the Rolex oyster bracelets I'm used to, but its pretty likely that it will end up in the strap drawer. The croc strap seems nice, but I have some kind of phobia about single deployant buckles. I've never found them particularly comfortable or desirable.I see that 18mm Omega thumbnail buckles are readily available. Could I put a thumbnail buckle on the strap that comes with the 3873? Or would it be better to order a different croc strap that doesn't thin out at the end to accommodate the deployant? Does Omega make a strap for a thumbnail/tang buckle or has anybody had luck with another type of strap with a speedie? Thanks!
Rare "Omega Classic" Japanese Model
cgi.ebay/Omega-Speedmaste...item5885168debFrom what I know, this is a Japan only model released in the early 90s in SS/gold and a all gold version. It is not a limited edition but only a couple thousand were made.Anyone know any more about it? Does the current price seem right? Anyone have one?
Comparing movements 3135 & 3235
Hi All, Is there a thread already started on this subject & if so, can you link it for me. If not, can you tell me what is the major difference? I know the power reserve is 70, which is nice to have. I'm not sure if I want to wait another year for my watch. Ive already let 3 Baselworlds go by hoping for the changes I've wanted but once again, like all the other years, it wasn't meant to be this year either. I'm eyeing a DJ 116200 blue stick dial, domed bezel & oyster bracelet. It's not a sport model or one that's popular so definitely can wait for the new movement to hit the SS versions next year. Opinions welcome. :-)
