RO vs ROO -Who is more photogenic?
Contestant #1 : The Royal Oak Offshore (ROO) Diver. Masculine, massive, attention seeking. Gorgeous. Contestant #2 : The Royal Oak 15400 White. Classic, sublime, reflect light like no other. Seriously, I can't decide. 50/50 ? Let the photos do the talking! First the ROO Diver. Then the RO 15400 and RO's secret weapon. It's gorgeous backside! So what you think? Who is more photogenic?
New strap. Good look?
So I recently got tired of my OEM bracelet and decided I would like to try on a strap for my Aqua Terra. I didn't want a generic leather and so I chose a genuine 19mm stingray. I really hate what seems to be a gaping hole between the bottom of the case and the strap but I suppose without end links it's to be expected... What do you guys think? Keep it on for a bit or just switch it back? I love the feel of it.
First Patek Philippe
Hello All, I am considering my first Patek Philippe after loving watches since the late 90s. I have done the Rolex thing, the Omega thing and finally the Breguet thing. I am wanting a Patek to see me through the next 20 years. I have sold off most of my collection to get the 1 watch which keeps me happy - the exit watch. I am a huge fan of the following models and I am keen to here the opinion of the pros here. The models I really love are the Patek 5107, 5127, 5146, 5035 and the new 5227. I think money will make me a used Patek buyer. I remember the first Patek I ever saw in the late 90s.... a magical 5035 in Yellow Gold. That was a stunner! I then remember a friend getting a 5107 in the spring of 2003. What a watch. I have seen a fantastic YouTube video on the 5146 by Michael D' Silva. What a classy watch. What would you recommend for me - needs to be a daily wearer. Thank you so much.
Is panerai really this cold now?
While I was picking up my new bronze 671, I saw 716 Mare Nostrum, 685 and 687 3 Days Acciaio in the showcase, they are such nice looking pieces! Wondering is panerai really this cold now?
Have you check your crownguard?
It's not always so nice and clean like the rest of the watch.
