Watches NEWS
Should I buy a Cockpit Big Date
I have the opportunity to buy a Cockpit big date with a silver dial. Are these desirable Breitlings and what would be a fair price. The watch is all stainless and is not a chrono. I think it's 41mm if that sounds right. Never owned a Breitling before so any info pros an cons of this mode is appreciated. Thanks!!
Adjustable Clasp
I found an adjustable clasp online and put it on my 42mm Planet Ocean. This is great. It’s part number 117stz1154. It has 5 or 6 different notches of adjustment. All watches should have this!!
Speedy Legend Schumacher LE LE 3559.32
Right so this is my second post in the Omega section today and i do apologise for asking so many questions but if it's any consolation, I am incredibly excited by some of the Omega models that i've seen online today that I never even knew existed Having looked online, this particular Speedy has really caught my eye. It is the Speedy Legend Schumacher LE, one of them anyway. Not my picture so credit to the original photographer! Can anyone give me any info on this model? Is it one of those ones that looks great in photos but doesn't quite live up to it in person? Any info would be much appreciated as i am an Omega novice, having never really spent much time looking into Omega! Thanks in advance!
Patek 5164A: Day/Night Indicator
Hi folks,I would like to check with current Patek 5164A owners, does your Day/Night indicator change colour (e.g from white to dark blue or vice versa) exactly at 6am/6pm?My new Patek 5164A seems to only start changing the colour of the Day/Night indicator starting from around 6am/6pm. The process would take about an hour or so to completely change the colour in the Day/Night indicator (e.g from white to dark blue or vice versa). Is this normal? In the Patek owner's manual, it only states the following:The day/night indicator in the round aperture at 3 o'clock (HOME) lets you check whether you have set the correct time (white stands for the daylight hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., black for the night time hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.).Hope current owners can help to shed some light on this and this is my first Patek watch. Many thanks in advance.
Daytona TT as a dressy sport watch with diamonds or not?
Hi guys, im here again to seek professional advice on the following questions:1) I am looking to own a TT YG watch and a Daytona, should i go for a TT YG daytona or 2 separate watches(Both rolexes and which model in TT YG)?2) If i am going for a TT YG Daytona, which dial colour looks dressy?3) And lastly, diamonds or no diamonds on a TT YG Daytona?I currently own a SubC date as my everyday beater and my budget is around 15k USDThank you so much for sharing with me your thoughts.
