Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second Watch With New In-House Movement
In the early summer of 2015, we sat down with Jaeger-LeCoultre to take a look at something special they wanted to show us. We were not able to take pictures at the time, but we did get some excellent hands-on time with the follow-up models to the "new" Geophysic collection that was introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2014 (hands-on here). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic collection has now officially blossomed with a unique personality as well as a unique family of movements which is something not only new for Jaeger-LeCoultre, but represents a new value proposition for watch collectors. The first of the 2015 Geophysic watches is this Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second. To make a long story short, the new in-house made Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 770 automatic movement has a "true second" complication, which means that even though the movement is mechanical, the second hand "ticks." Ap panda serie G should I get it?
So I'm really considering getting an Roo panda serie G it's definitely a beauty. I was considering getting the new grey dial but It's more because of the little upgrade like the caseback and ceramic button but I start thinking that it's still the same movement so my main concern now is if I get the series G panda is it considered too old? Will it be fine to swim or if it happens to get wet or what should be concern of? Do you guys think i should rather get the newer models? And is there any different between serie g and other newer series? Please help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Patek watch roll
I'm assuming this is massively overpriced. I am looking for one but for nowhere near as much as they are asking. I know these are not readily available but can be bought from masterchrono branded with the manufacturer but I am not a fan of the new cufflink insert and the old insert is only available in black and orange. am I way off base, will someone actually pay this much for them? 5146G - Cream or Slate
So it's time for my next Patek. I have decided on the 5146G but I can't decide on the dial - cream or slate. I have only seen the slate in person and it's a beautiful color, pretty unique. However I know that the cream is more classic Patek (dials in the white/off white family)Which dial may stand the test of time better?Thoughts? Preferences?
Not the most popular dial choice but its beautiful!
