Limited Edition Formex DS 2000 Chronograph Makes Perfect 'Shop Watch'
I've talked about Formex watches before, but this model is my favorite. This is the limited edition Formex DS 2000, which means it has a Valjoux 7750 movement and a nice black rotating bezel (as opposed to the silver colored version of the non limited edition quartz model). This handsome technical watch is from a maker of decidedly race inspired timepieces. Built with their customary shock absorber protection device. The watches can usually take some brutal movement and forces.Though one thing I cannot figure out, and perhaps some one can inform me. Why is it that each Formex watch is a "Formex 4 Speed." Yes that sounds pretty cool, but watches don't have speeds, I am not sure what each Formex watch has 4 of, and 4 speed cars are very30 years ago. Regardless, it still have a nice ring to it. Otherwise, you will be impressed by the interesting watch that Formex has to offer. Most of the watches come in both mechanical and quartz movements as well. One of the features you will appreciate
Possible Sector Dial for the 5170?
Well we have seen Arabic markers on the 5070, Roman numerals on the 5170J and Breguet markers on both versions of the 5170G. Aren't we ready for a sector dial chrono for a 5170P? Would love a light colored laceur dial with blue markers and hands. (Pic is not mine and could not find the source but this is a beautiful vintage chrono Ref 130)

A few snaps of the 5711 cruising on the Jubilee and Central lines into St Paul's in EC4.We had to race into the office earlier today to sort out a few things 10 years ago the Tube would have been dead as this early hour but London really is getting pumped up to the max with people!!Snaps as promised...
Spring wristy show off..!?
Let's show off some wristies in the spring sun! (I am always the last on these kinda threads so bare with me if there already are 5 similar threads regarding the spring season)...What the heck...living in Sweden where the polar bears walk freely on the streets : ) we long for the spring more then anyone.Today I finally felt a bit of warm sun on my wrist and had to take a couple of wristies with my red friend while the pre-spring sun set in the back:

Everybody loves showing of their new pristine time pieces. And everyone savors those incoming photos , including myself. Well, here's some pics of what a real world BLNR looks like. I've had this for going on 3years and wear it about 70% of the time switching out between my other watches. I manage apartment buildings that I own but am mostly in the office half the day and don't do much of the hands on maintenance (but not afraid to get my hands dirty). This comes from normal everyday wear and I don't take it off for any manual labor. This is just a lesson for those new watch owners and what expect with normal watch wear. Wear it, enjoy it. Opinions are like wrist watches...everyone's watch shows a different time from others, but everyone believes that their time is correct.
