How important is the new 5 year warranty to you?
I thought this might be an interesting topic since AP recently started the new 5 year warranty. Since AP service costs so much and their movements seem to be a little less reliable than say a rolex imho I think the 5 year warranty adds a significant value to the watch. I don't mean to say that Rolex is a better movement but just that it is more simplified and requires fixing less often from my experience. Say you were looking at two AP watches to buy. One is from 2016 and one is from 2017 and both are LNIB. the 2016 watch only has 2 years left on the warranty while they 2017 watch has a full 5 years. What is 3 extra years warranty on an AP worth to you in terms of $$$? To me it is EASILY worth $1000. Do you agree?

Help me choose my next Omega
Hi guys,I am currently contemplating my next purchase. Having purchased my Rolex GMTIIc TT a month ago, I have been wearing that watch five days a week for the whole past month and I have realized that its looks too flashy and stupid on a pair of jeans or hoodies. Im thinking of keeping that watch for dressier occasions and getting an Omega Seamaster for casual everyday wear.I have previously owned an Omega SMP 300 quartz 'bond' and sold that because I couldnt stand the fact that it was quartz. I also owned an Omega PO 2500 42mm in black, and sold that because it looked too plain. Need more BB36 love in here
Went looking at watches today, at a somewhat distant AD, and was glad to finally try on the Black Bay 36. (Sorry for the bad lighting pic and the plastic over the crystal.) I've been feeling like my time with the Explorer is about up, and this all but sealed the deal. What a great piece.Also finally tried on a Speedmaster Professional and I'm a little shocked by how much I love it. The poor Explorer is feeling especially lonely now...

Can't decide what to buy next
I am selling my gun and ammo collection so that I can buy another Rolex. I currently own a 50th Anniversary Submariner (Green Bezel) that I bought new in 2007 and the 1987 168000 Submariner my dad gave me about a month ago (currently at RSC Dallas getting fixed up). Originally, I couldn't decide between an older two tone Rolex Submariner with the blue face (16613), which I have wanted since I was a kid, or an older Rolex GMT Master (or GMT Master II) with the Pepsi bezel. Then I started seeing the new Black/Blue GMT Master II with the blue 24 hour hand and now I am really torn. If I can manage to sell my Suzuki DRZ-400, I might get two of the three. Any thoughts on what I should get next? It may take a while to move the gun collection too.
