Linde Werdelin The Perfect Five Characters: Sissi SAKI-FARI?A
Born: 5-7-1985 in Mumbai), Ph. D. in Computer SciencesOwns a Linde Werdelin The One watch, in steel since November 25, 2009Sissi SAKI-FARI?A got her Ph. D. in Computer Sciences, at the age of 20 at MIT. Sissi made a fortune free-lancing as a statistical analyst for the biggest search-engine company in the world during her studying years at the MIT however lost all of it in the 2008 financial debacle. She was hired as a scientific consultant by the south-Asian microchip factory last September, after the engineers discovered the trail of uncanny performances by the Perfect Five batch of microprocessors. Sissy was hired by the Linde Werdelin founders after a very exciting meeting in Copenhagen where everyone agreed that the NGX 5128 code would be the best project for the first Summit .Part of a series of character introductions followed by comic segments as part of Linde Werdelin's "The Perfect Five" graphic novel (here in digital form).
I think that my Diver is covered for options
Back when Panerai wasn't very well known and I was in love with the brand. I went a little overboard on straps. I had boxes with just about every permutation imaginable. I've been a little more restrained with my AP Diver. Many Thanks to YYZPAM for helping out.Bracelet on the watch and Left to right:AP OEM Rubber Strap, AP OEM Survivor Strap, AP OEM Black Hornback on the Black Survivor Buckle. I think that should do it?
A Question of Quality
Hi,I've not really been into watches until the last year or so and have recently been looking at other brands outside of Rolex. Not to buy, as I cannot afford one. It took me 4 years to save up for a Rolex Sub. So it's just out of interest and to know more about other brands/models etcI have a lot of respect for AP and like the way the majority of them look. But there is one thing I don't understand and that is why are they so expensive? To be straight, I have never held one in real life. But on just about every picture I have ever seen, they look nowehre near as well finished as a Rolex. The main part being the face, the face always looks 'cheap'. There are some that are over 10,000 Euro and look great. But they look to have the build and finish of an average 500 Euro Tissot or something. What am I missing? Educate me please :)p.s. The nicest watch I have ever seen and love is one of the AP Grande Complications! So I am in no way an 'AP hater' or something.
Vintage: Hands painted
Any thoughts on a Vintage Sub that has had the hands painted to match the dial that has really nice patina? What might that do to the value moving forward? Should it matter?
Rolex Deepsea Clasp code
Hello everyone,I have a V serial DSSD with a warranty card dated 10-10-14. I know the V serial dates back to 2008 or so. The clasp has what may be a random number that reads X4P instead of the expected PJ or LT prefixes. My question to you all is that could it be possible that this watch was released later such as NOS inventory and paired with a newer clasp with a random clasp code? Anyone have mismatched watch/clasp codes? Thanks in advance for your input.
